{"id":2208,"date":"2026-02-27T11:35:53","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T06:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newtownkhobor.in\/?p=2208"},"modified":"2026-02-27T11:35:55","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T06:05:55","slug":"kolkata-25-ac-cng-buses-new-routes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newtownkhobor.in\/bn\/news\/kolkata-25-ac-cng-buses-new-routes\/","title":{"rendered":"Kolkata Rolls Out 25 AC CNG Buses, 21 New Routes Planned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kolkata | February 6, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kolkata<\/strong> has begun rolling out a new phase of greener public transport with the gradual introduction of <strong>25 air-conditioned CNG buses<\/strong>, even as plans are finalised to induct a <strong>200-bus clean-fuel fleet<\/strong> across the city in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The action is viewed as a major step toward modernizing the city&#8217;s public transportation system, <strong>lowering urban pollution, and enhancing commuter comfort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WBTC to Operate New AC CNG Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accenture <a href=\"https:\/\/wbtconline.in\/home\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wbtconline.in\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>West Bengal Transport Corporation (WBTC)<\/strong><\/a> plans to operate the new buses. officials anticipate that the entire fleet will be fully operational, further increasing AC and clean-fuel connectivity throughout <strong>Kolkata<\/strong> and its
