Police Investigation Underway
The complainant right away contacted the bank’s credit card department after receiving the alerts and asked that his card be blocked.
Additionally, he filed a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and submitted a transaction dispute form. After about 15 days, he eventually received the transaction IDs.
Rising Concern Over Online Frauds
The incident has once again highlighted the growing threat of cyber fraud cases in Rajarhat and New Town.
