Belgachia–New Town Eco Space Route to Ease IT Corridor Commute
Accenture Belgachia–New Town Eco Space route ACT -36 is expected to significantly benefit office-goers working in the IT hub of New Town, especially around Eco Space and nearby business parks.
The introduction of CNG buses is intended to provide quicker, cleaner, and more comfortable travel due to the growing passenger load and prolonged lines on some sections.
There are 20 non-AC CNG buses and 100 AC buses operate by the West Bengal Transport Corporation (WBTC). These buses were purchased by the state for about ₹52 crore.
The new buses are being placed on routes where commuters experience shortages or long wait times, according to Transport Minister Snehasis Chakraborty.
Accenture CNG fleet is anticipated to lower fuel prices and urban pollution in addition to enhancing passenger comfort.
